After the sun has bled its last ray, DJ Deathstrike amps up a ton of classic metal anthems including select Soundwave artists plus some killer thrash metal from 80's legends, FREE after 9pm if you enter via George St. enterance near the rear car park. $5 bourbons til midnight, metal on the big screen!

Any progress on getting speakers regularly set up in the beer garden? It'd make the nights infinitely better if you could actually hear the music out there (at a level where you could still hear each other talk, of course).

Definitely be swinging by. Sound in the beer garden would be pretty cool, but I'd want it turned right down. An area where conversation is possible is a total necessity. Besides, I kind of like playing the guessing game with muffled intros from afar!

cheers for the feedback on the speakers in beer garden. Personally I would like to see that but its more likely that once they sort out the license restrictions that I'll be in the beer garden punishing your ears in the summer months! Enjoy the silence :P

Head back to the City THIS SATURDAY & celebrate the 2nd Birthday of APOCALYPTIC CITY. Hard to believe its been two years already! With summer coming we're anticipating a move back to the back bar & hoping for an endless summer, Celtic Frost style! This weekend however will be in front bar, contrary to what you may have heard due to a private booking out the Apocalyptic Room. So come out, booze up & ingnite the metal flame while we party into the darkness....
