i am part of a local band called bedlam and i would like to know other bands.

I'm pretty sure you can find CDs of a few of those at Clarity Records on Pulteney Street, they've got an Adelaide and Australian metal section (and a separate Adelaide hardcore section if you're into that as well), you'll surely find some other stuff there that you'll like. Best way to grab tracks would be to contact the bands through MySpace or whatever people use these days, or at gigs. Rote Mare, Tzun Tzu and Altars are the only ones on that list that play regularly, I think.
